How do you convert from right angle to straight 1/2” drill
You have to remove the right angle attachment after you remove the chuck and chuck screw. Then reinstall the chuck and chuck screw onto the drill.
Is this made here, beings they won't put it in the specs I'm thinking, No! Just don't shop for stuff from over there anymore. I don't want cheapier I want a quality product, made here. Anyone listeni
Some Milwaukee tools are made in the USA, but it can also be manufactured in China and Europe. It will depend on each product. The country of manufacture is listed on the product itself or it's packaging.
Do they sale replacement cord
The 8' version is available on the site here - just search for "Milwaukee Quik-Lok cord". I know Milwaukee also makes a 25' version, and maybe others.

Does this drill have a clutch? Plan to drill 9/16" hole in steel on vehicle with limited space and worried about possible binding.
No clutch. All power goes to the chuck. It’s a beast of a drill. I bought it, and have used it a lot.
Does this unit test 12V DC ?
no, this detector will do 50 VAC to 1000VAC only
